CMEC signs agreement on integrated wind-solar hydrogen production project

A ceremony was held at the Fengzhen Municipal People’s Government of Inner Mongolia for the signing of a cooperation agreement on an integrated wind-solar hydrogen production project.

The agreement was signed by China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) -Hong Kong Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of CMEC Group headquarters; Inner Mongolia Longyuan New Energy Development Co., Ltd.; and Jiangsu Guofu Hydrogen Energy Technology Equipment Co., Ltd.

The signing of the agreement marks that the application of CMEC’s hydrogen energy products has entered the stage of project implementation, which is a good start for the company’s scenario-based application of hydrogen energy.

The total hydrogen output of the project is about 15,000 tons/year, and it is planned to be built in two phases. The Phase I project is planned to produce 3,300 tons of hydrogen per year with a daily production capacity of 10 tons, covering the integrated construction of wind power, solar power, energy storage, power transmission, power transformation, hydrogen production and hydrogen liquefaction.

This project can promote the rapid development of hydrogen production, hydrogen storage, hydrogen transportation, hydrogen filling and related equipment manufacturing, and the construction of Fengzhen City’s hydrogen energy industry ecosystem.
