Tesvolt to supply battery storage system for green hydrogen production projects

The Schaper Group will use the Tesvolt battery system in Apex hydrogen generation projects.

Tesvolt (a German battery storage system manufacturer) is working with the Schaper Group to implement a range of green hydrogen projects, with the collaboration promising revenues of around € 40 million for Tesvolt by 2023.

The Schaper Group is installing Tesvolt energy storage systems with a total capacity of up to 40 MWh for Apex Group. Schaper plans and implements high-level control technology and energy integration for the hydrogen production plants. In its projects for Apex, Schaper will rely exclusively on the intelligent battery storage systems from Tesvolt.

The power storage solutions offer hydrogen electrolysers a reliable power supply when renewable power (solar or wind) power systems fail to supply the required volume of electricity. The high-performance electricity storage systems from Tesvolt supply the electrolyser with green surplus energy from temporary storage.

Apex supplies industrial companies worldwide with heat and electricity, both of which are produced completely emission-free from hydrogen. It develops a CO2-neutral energy supply on behalf of its clients. Its business model has two pillars, the project business and the storage business.

Both Schaper Group and Tesvolt have been working on various projects for almost three years, and they want to develop further green energy solutions for manufacturing companies in the future.
