Tecniberia and Ceees join the Spanish Hydrogen Association (AeH2)

The Spanish Hydrogen Association (AeH2) and Tecniberia have signed a collaboration agreement focusing on boosting technological development and promoting renewable hydrogen. Both partners aim to collaborate in the energy transition and hydrogen.

Javier Brey, President of AeH2, said that hydrogen could be used to generate power when there is no renewable resource, thus contributing to the management of the electricity system.

Pablo Bueno, President of Tecniberia, said the agreement would promote the knowledge and study of hydrogen as a new energy vector and the opportunities that open up for various industrial sectors.

Meanwhile, the Spanish Confederation of Service Station Entrepreneurs (Ceees) has also recently joined the AeH2 as an institutional partner to contribute to the technological and industrial development of hydrogen.

Both partners already signed a framework collaboration agreement in early 2019 to work on energy, sustainable mobility and hydrogen use in transport.

Ceees is committed to the development of hydrogen for the emissions-free mobility sector and has been promoting hydrogen at several platforms, including involving with the Spanish government on the Renewable Hydrogen Roadmap, becoming a part of the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance as well as supporting other national projects for the deployment of hydrogen supply infrastructure for the fuel cell vehicles.

Jorge de Benito, President of Ceees, said, “With the entry into AeH2, we hope to contribute to strengthening the increasingly relevant hydrogen ecosystem that our country has, as well as offering our partners the wide range of professional contacts and technical and training resources that the association makes available to its members.”
