Howden and Chart collaborates; DynaCERT supplies technology to mining sector
Howden and Chart will result in cost-effective solutions.
Chart Industries, Inc. and Howden will collaborate for advanced hydrogen solutions, incorporating Howden gas compression systems into Chart hydrogen offerings.
This relationship will result in more cost-effective, standardised solutions within an integrated and optimised service offering. This will provide customers with tailored global aftermarket support and leverage both companies’ manufacturing capabilities to be close to the regional hydrogen projects.
Ross Shuster, CEO of Howden, said, “We view this collaboration as one means to bring cost-effective, standardised solutions to the market in order to help reduce the time required to develop new projects and to lower costs associated with renewable hydrogen.”
Jill Evanko, CEO of Chart Industries, added, “The combination of our offerings are highly complementary, which reduces lead-time and unnecessary costs for our customers as hydrogen projects require speed to market and cost competitiveness.”
In another development, dynaCERT Inc. announced the implementation of its flagship HydraGEN™ Technology and its Telematics HydraLytica™ Technology with some global mining industry participants through its dealer H2 Tek.
H2 Tek has issued purchase orders to dynaCERT to place certain HydraGEN™ Technology models suited for the mining industry, including the large engine series of HG4-C and HG6-C units. The technology to be installed at various mining operations located in Russia, Chile, Peru, Brazil, Argentina, and Australia. The installations would be on pilot trials aiming to result in the adoption of HydraGEN™ Technology for mining equipment fleet applications. Each pilot deploys between 2 and 3 HydraGEN™ units operating for up to six months.
