Hexagon Purus receives orders from Spain and Switzerland

Hexagon Purus said today (17th March) that it has received several orders from various gas distributors in Europe with a total value of € 1.9 million (US$ 2.3 million), H2Bulletin reports. These orders originated from Germany as well as two new markets Spain and Switzerland.

Hexagon Purus to supply its X-Store 300 bar cylinder and X-Store 381 bar to its customers in Q2 and Q3 this year. They will be used for the transportation of hydrogen for mobility and industrial applications. Due to their lightweight, the composite cylinders accommodate very high payloads during transport, resulting in total transportation costs.

The company also announced (16th March) to have signed a multi-year agreement with Certarus Ltd with a total value of around US$ 85 million for the combined deliveries of Hexagon Purus and Hexagon Agility. The delivery of distribution modules which are intended for the mobility sector is expected to be delivered in the third quarter this year.

Early this month it signed two joint venture agreements with China’s CIMC Enric Holdings Limited, a supplier of cryogenic and compressed gas storage solution provider. The agreements covered cylinder and systems production for fuel cell vehicles and hydrogen distribution in China and Southeast Asia. The JVs expects to start the production of high-pressure T3 fuel storage this year with a capacity reaching around 100k/year cylinders.
