Australia-Germany hydrogen value chain feasibility study

Together with a German-Australian consortium, BDI and acatech have investigated whether and how the import of renewable hydrogen from Australia can succeed.

The final report summarizes the findings from the HySupply project and shows that a German-Australian hydrogen bridge is feasible and makes sense. It is now up to industry and, in no small part, governments to implement the recommendations for action and thus realize the world’s longest hydrogen bridge by 2030.
