AIP, IPPortalegre and Academia para H2, launch Hydrogen Roadmap
The initiative is the result of a partnership between AIP and the Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre/Academia Para H2.
The Portuguese Industrial Association (AIP), the Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre (IPP) and the Academia para o H2, have recently launched the Hydrogen Roadmap.
The aim of the Hydrogen Roadmap is to promote an industrial policy around green hydrogen, qualifying it as one of the main solutions for the decarbonization of the economy.
This roadmap will consist of 23 sessions, to be held in each of the metropolitan areas and inter-municipal communities, which will take place over six months, and will be aimed at companies, municipalities, higher education institutions, technicians, students and other agents in the territory. , aiming to enhance their knowledge in the field of systems and technologies related to green hydrogen and energy sustainability.
“We are heavily involved in the effort to publicize and raise awareness of the importance that hydrogen will assume in the future energy matrix. This roadmap will mobilize entrepreneurs and other actors across the country in a far-reaching initiative”, says José Eduardo Carvalho, president of AIP.
The initiative is the result of a partnership between AIP and the Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre/Academia for H2 and has the support of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Action. The first session took place in Portalegre, on 31 March, and the second took place on 12 May, in Tondela.
These sessions will be attended by national and international experts, but also by companies that expose and disseminate their experiences in the field of development and application in a business context of systems and technologies related to green hydrogen.
