MyFC partners with Nilsson Energy; Nel receives PEM electrolyser order

The partnership between MyFC and Nilsson Energy is a good match in line with the green transition.

MyFC has signed a collaboration agreement with Nilsson Energy, a supplier of sustainable hydrogen production and energy storage solutions.

Under the agreement, both parties will offer solutions for green power production in connection with the customers’ production facilities.

Based in Gothenburg in Sweden, Nilsson Energy builds emission-free plants where renewable energy is used for hydrogen production through electrolysis. Both companies work with green and sustainable technology and have had a business relationship over the years.

Michael Glantz, CEO of myFC, said, “Together, we can deliver a closed and sustainable cycle with green hydrogen as the basis for our patented fuel cell technology.”

MyFC fuel cells are very well suited for automated storage robots of the type AGV (Automated Guided Vehicles), and in connection with a warehouse building, it is also easy to fit in with Nilsson Energy’s production facilities for hydrogen, Glantz explained.

In a separate development, Nel Hydrogen US (a subsidiary of Nel Asa) has received a contract for PEM electrolyser equipment from an undisclosed, leading stationary fuel cell OEM. The purchase order has a value of about US$ 2.6 million, and the equipment will be delivered between 2022 and 2024. Nel will also be providing design consulting services as part of the project.
