LiveView Technologies orders 600 Efoy fuel cells

The follow-up order is a record high for SFC Efoy fuel cell and will contribute to climate protection.

SFC Energy AG will supply 600 Efoy fuel cells worth US$ 4 million to LiveView Technologies (LVT) for mobile surveillance technology applications.

This is the largest order for Efoy fuel cells in SFC Energy company history. The order will be delivered in the next seven quarters. In May this year, LVT ordered more than 100 units for their clean, rapid deployment trailers.

The Efoy fuel cells provide the green power plant of the LVT Rapid Deployment Trailers. The fuel cells, LVT will customise power generation solutions. They supply green power permanently and efficiently in off-grid areas making them the perfect solution to replace previously used diesel generators. Compared to diesel generators, Efoy fuel cells consume significantly less fuel, operate more efficiently and emit no greenhouse gases.

Dr Peter Podesser, CEO of SFC Energy AG, said, “For us, the replacement of conventional diesel generators opens up a large market with high growth dynamics, which we will develop with our green power plants.”

Derek Boggs, Director of Marketing and Demand Generation at LiveView Technologies, said, “Within a very short time, it became clear that the EFOY fuel cell was the perfect solution for our applications. This gives us the opportunity to operate even more flexibly and independently of solar power.”

SFC Energy supplies hydrogen and methanol fuel cells for stationary and mobile hybrid power solutions. LiveView Technologies is a software company that provides security software and solutions.
