Israel’s Bazan Group to develop hydrogen infrastructure for the transport sector

The Bazan Group, an oil refining and petrochemicals company in Israel, has recently announced a NIS 12 million ($3.7 million) pilot project to develop hydrogen infrastructure for transport in Israel.

The Ministry of Energy will fund up to NIS 1.3 million. The initial project target is to develop the system to ship hydrogen safely to the refuelling stations.

The company will also develop a hydrogen discharge dispensing station for refuelling transport and industrial needs. It will also set up the county first authorised laboratory to conduct hydrogen research for the transport sector.
