HPS Home Power Solutions and Bonava agree on cooperation

Year-round electricity storage system picea can be viewed in show house in Schulzendorf near Berlin.

HPS Home Power Solutions (HPS) and Bonava have signed a cooperation agreement, and as a part of the agreement, the picea year-round electricity storage system was installed in a Bonava show house in Schulzendorf near Berlin for testing and presentation purposes.

Bonava can offer customers the latest standard for energy supply for new buildings with the picea system. The desire for an independent and CO2-free energy supply is thus becoming tangible for a larger number of homeowners.

The picea system has been in operation in the show house since January 2022, where it will be presented to interested customers by Bonava and HPS sales staff for at least two years. During a walk-through appointment, they will explain how picea works and how it interacts with the photovoltaic system and the heating system. In addition, HPS regularly organizes events for the media and politicians in the showhouse.

“The market for new buildings in the residential sector is one of the most important sales markets for HPS. The cooperation with Bonava offers broad market access and opens up further growth potential for us,” says Zeyad Abul-Ella, founder and CEO of HPS.

Rico Kallies, Berlin regional manager at Bonava, said, “As a complement, the picea year-round electricity storage system offers a marketable solution for residential buildings based on hydrogen with high energy efficiency for the first time.”
