The work with the academy will also contribute to R&D in the region and will position the region as a pole of technological development and new solutions that contribute to the decarbonization of the planet,” explained the general manager of HIF Energy, Rodrigo Delmastro.

Rector of the Punta Arenas headquarters of the IP-CFT Santo Tomás, Valeska Acevedo, said, “At Santo Tomás we are committed to this important historical project for Magallanes, which will allow us to promote the development of our region, as well as to detect the academic needs for future technicians that will be required in the green hydrogen industry.”

The collaboration between HIF Chile and Santo Tomás contemplates the joint execution of R&D projects, development of internships in the company, survey of professional and technical profiles required by the industry, development of demonstration models with synthetic fuel technology, etc
