GCK receives an order for 10 hydrogen coaches from Autocars Dominique & B.E. green

The Autocars Dominique & B.E. green group has chosen Green Corp Konnection (GCK) to accelerate the greening of its transport fleet with an order for 10 hydrogen retrofitted coaches.

This new order is an illustration of the capacity of the GCK group and its subsidiaries (here GCK Mobility and GCK Battery) to propose a 360° offer around decarbonised mobility. Indeed, in addition to the retrofit which will be carried out by GCK Mobility teams on the Lempdes industrial site, the batteries installed in the coaches will be supplied by GCK Battery

GCK Mobility will transform these Iveco Crossway coaches by replacing the diesel engine and gearbox with a 370kW electric motor, batteries and H2 fuel cell. The operation will retain all the seats and luggage space while the vehicle will offer a range of 300km with a recharging capacity of 700 bar in 15 minutes.

After receiving several orders for long-distance coaches, GCK is building on its technological expertise and strengthening its range of retrofitted heavy-duty vehicles with medium-distance coaches for school transport in urban areas.

These 10 hydrogen retrofitted coaches join the Autocars Dominique & B.E. green group’s fleet of 140 vehicles, 79% of which are low-carbon thanks to a mix of thermal, CNG, electric and hydrogen energy. The group is thus continuing its energy transition by offering, once again, zero-emission mobility solutions to its customers and reducing the carbon footprint of public transport.

For GCK, which will support the Autocars Dominique & B.E. green group in the follow-up and maintenance of the vehicles, it is further proof of the coherence of its model and the reliability of its expertise, thus confirming its status as a benchmark for the decarbonisation of transport.”

Éric Boudot said, “I am very pleased to formalise this order which demonstrates the diversity of our 360° offer around carbon-free mobility. This project is part of a positive start to the year with an increase in capital and new commercial projects that allow us to continue our strategic development. ”

Patrick Mignucci said, “In line with our commitment, we are particularly proud to be able to operate the very first hydrogen coaches retrofitted by a French manufacturer and thus enhance our know-how during the many sporting and cultural events taking place in France in 2024 “.
