Everfuel acquires DHF to expand its hydrogen business

Everfuel, a Danish green hydrogen producer, has signed a purchasing deal to buy Danish Hydrogen Fuel A/S (owned by Strandmollen A/S, Nel Hydrogen A/S and OK A.m.b.a).

The acquisition is aimed to help Everfuel grow its position in the Scandinavian hydrogen market. The deal is set to be finalised in the coming week, while the terms are kept confidential.

Everfuel produces green hydrogen for the transport sector in Denmark and has a presence in Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium.

Hydrogen Fuel currently operates four hydrogen fuelling stations in Danish cities, namely Korsor, Kolding, Esbjerg and Aarhus, similar to those of Everfuel stations in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Jacob Krogsgaard, the CEO and founder of Everfuel, said that this acquisition “is anĀ important strategic step”. This will help the company be a key player in hydrogen technology in Scandinavia’s transport sector.
