Nel Secures Repeat Order for Hydrogen Equipment in Europe

Nel ASA has announced a new contract worth around US$ 7 million for its containerized PEM electrolyser technology. The order comes through its US subsidiary, Nel Hydrogen US, and was placed by Mesure Process, part of Synqo Energies. This marks the second time the client has selected Nel’s equipment.
The hydrogen systems will be used to supply both refueling stations and industrial applications as part of a European project. Synqo Energies will act as the EPC contractor, delivering a complete hydrogen refueling solution on behalf of a consortium that includes end users.
Mesure Process focuses on developing integrated solutions across projects, products, and services, helping industrial and heavy mobility sectors transition toward cleaner energy systems.
According to Managing Director Marcello Venturi, the project highlights the company’s capability to deliver full hydrogen infrastructure solutions by combining engineering, integration, and operational expertise to support low-carbon mobility and industry.
Nel’s Chief Commercial Officer Todd Cartwright noted that the repeat order reflects continued confidence in the company’s technology. He also emphasized growing demand for Nel’s modular MC platform, which is designed for easy transport and quick installation across various applications.
The electrolyser system will produce renewable hydrogen for both mobility distribution and industrial export. The facility is expected to become operational in 2027.
